About the Role:

We currently have an opportunity for a highly talented and adaptable Senior Financial Accountant to join our Innovative finance team. Reporting to a results-oriented Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for managing, mentoring and providing leadership to 2 AP officers.

Responsibilities will also include:

  • Manage and report on corporate Profit & Loss statements.
  • Budget and forecast, advising stakeholders on budget management.
  • Manage facilities with bank providers
  • Create and manage dashboards.
  • Forecast cash flow and focus on capex reporting.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage the accounts’ payable function and ensure suppliers are paid on time and accurately
  • Manage, mentor and provide leadership to 2 AP officers
  • Act as a business partner to corporate areas, with a focus on process improvement in Finance (AP, AR, Payroll, Accounting).
  • Oversee processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Complete ad hoc tasks as requested by management to support business operations.

About You:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive approach, maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
  • Professional presentation and ability to work well under pressure, with an assertive demeanour.

Qualification:

  • Tertiary degree in Business/Finance
  • CA/CPA Experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an Accountant
  • High level of numeracy skills
  • Strong data analysis skills
