About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated leader to guide, support, and inspire our Tow Truck Operator workforce (both employees and contractors). This role is pivotal in driving performance, ensuring compliance, achieving service KPIs, and supporting growth—all while delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
This isn’t just an operational position—it’s an opportunity to shape capability, lead change, and make a tangible impact across our national transport and towing network.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and support drivers to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality services.
- Build strong partnerships with drivers, aligning performance with profitability and customer expectations.
- Oversee training, coaching, and compliance to meet national safety and service standards.
- Champion continuous improvement—identify opportunities, solve challenges, and enhance operational performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless, customer-first experiences.
- Monitor performance data, interpret insights, and implement initiatives that lift service delivery and business results.
About You
You’re a confident and capable leader with proven experience in contractor management and transport operations. With a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on leadership, you know how to build high-performing teams, exceed customer expectations, and make systems work smarter.
What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience managing contractors or field teams (transport, logistics, or service industries ideal).
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Solid knowledge of safety compliance, KPIs, and cost-performance management.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a knack for turning data into action.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative, outcomes-focused approach.
