  • On-site parking and a range of cultural initiatives that make work enjoyable and engaging.
  • Autonomy to create a legacy and drive positive change, with opportunities to make a real impact.

About Nationwide Group
Nationwide Group is a leading subsidiary of RACV, dedicated to delivering innovative, customer-focused solutions across our diverse business operations. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace where people are empowered to grow, contribute, and make an impact. Joining Nationwide Group means being part of a team that values excellence, embraces new ideas, and drives positive outcomes for both our customers and our communities.

Behind the scenes, our People & Culture (P&C) team works hard to ensure everything people-related runs smoothly—from the employee lifecycle to providing practical, high-quality advisory support. We’re committed to putting the right frameworks and processes in place so our people can focus on what they do best, with the support they need along the way.

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior People & Culture Business Partner to support our National Operations client group, which spans across towing, roadside assistance, and storage.

Reporting to the Head of People, you’ll be a trusted partner to our State Managers and operational leaders across the country, while leading a small, talented team of P&C Advisors and a People Operations Specialist, who are a joy to lead!

This is a role where no two days are the same — you’ll balance strategic partnering with hands-on delivery, provide guidance on employee and contractor matters, and design people initiatives that truly shape the employee experience.

A typical week might see you:

  • Partnering with State Managers and senior leaders to deliver on strategic people plans.
  • Coaching, leading and mentoring your own team to grow and achieve their goals
  • Supporting decision-making with thoughtful analysis and recommendations using data
  • Providing expert advice on employee and contractor workforce matters
  • Driving people initiatives across engagement, performance, and workforce planning
  • Championing our values and setting the tone for culture and wellbeing.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience as a People & Culture Business Partner (or similar) in a complex operational environment. (Working across a contractor workforce would be an advantage – but its not essential)
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills — you’re confident influencing senior leaders.
  • A continuous improvement mindset – and a curiosity to want to challenge the status quo
  • Excellent communication skills — articulate, data-driven, and confident presenting.

Ability to work across multiple awards, agreements and commercial contracts

  • A genuine passion for culture and employee experience, with the resilience and sense of humour to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Why you’ll love it here
At Nationwide Group, we work hard, but we support each other even harder. Our P&C team has built a reputation for being collaborative, creative and just a little bit cheeky — we celebrate the wins, rally together for the tough stuff, and never lose sight of having fun along the way. If you’re looking for a role where you can make an impact and be part of a team that’s got your back, this is it.

As part of the RACV network, there are also excellent development and growth opportunities, including in-house leadership and development programs designed to help you expand your skills and progress your career.
