About the Role

Are you ready to take control of your career and build your own business? Join us as a Roadside Mechanic and become the face of emergency roadside assistance for Queensland’s leading Auto Club.

As a valued partner, you’ll play a vital role in helping drivers get back on the road safely and efficiently. With comprehensive training and ongoing support from our experienced operations team, you’ll have everything you need to succeed—delivering exceptional service with confidence and a smile.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnosing vehicle issues such as flat batteries, flat tires, overheating, or engine problems.
  • Performing quick fixes at the roadside. This may include jump-starting a battery, changing a tire, vehicle lock outs, topping up fluids, or temporarily repairing parts.
  • Providing customer service, communicating clearly with stranded motorists, reassuring them, and keeping them informed.
  • Using diagnostic tools to assess modern vehicle systems.
  • Maintaining and stocking their service vehicle with the necessary tools and replacement parts.

What You’ll Need

  • Qualified Motor Mechanic or Automotive Electrician credentials
  • Proven experience working as an Automotive Mechanic
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a genuine desire to assist people in need
  • A strong commitment to health and safety standards
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • A willingness to obtain and operate under an ABN
