Our Towing Operations team manages a national network of towing and transport providers, delivering safe, efficient and high-quality services to councils, insurers, fleet customers and the general public. About the role

As Operations Manager, you will lead the performance of our towing, transport and fleet operations through the coaching and support of Service Delivery Managers.

You will ensure operations are safe, efficient and profitable, meeting KPIs, contractual obligations and legislative requirements, while maintaining high levels of customer service and contractor engagement.

This is a senior operational leadership role with responsibility for performance, compliance, safety and continuous improvement across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee operations to meet service, safety and financial targets
• Monitor KPIs, response times and service levels
• Manage contractor performance, compliance and engagement
• Drive operational improvement and change initiatives
• Ensure compliance with HVNL, CoR and WHS requirements
• Build a high-performance, accountable team culture

About you

• Proven operations leadership experience in transport, towing or logistics
• Strong contractor management experience
• Demonstrated ability to drive performance and operational improvement
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant management or transport qualification (desirable)
