Noble Park
Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator – Driver Support
Full-time & Part-time opportunities | Noble Park | Rotating roster
Drivers on the road. Customers waiting. Jobs moving across the network. That’s where you come in.
If you love thinking on your feet, juggling moving parts and being the person who helps turn a problem into a solution, this could be your next move.
As a Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be right at the heart of our operation, working within the customer service dispatch centre, working alongside our Dispatchers to keep drivers and Tow Truck Operators moving, customers informed and roadside and transport jobs progressing safely.
Every shift brings something different. An ETA changes. A driver needs support. A customer needs an update. A system or payment issue is holding up a job. You’ll help work out what needs to happen next and keep things moving.
Your shift in action
You’ll be responsible for:
- Responding to inbound and outbound calls and messages from drivers and Tow Truck Operators
- Monitoring jobs as they progress and coordinating accurate ETA information
- Keeping customers informed when delays occur and providing realistic updates
- Troubleshooting job, payment, pricing and system issues that may prevent a job from being completed
- Keeping job records, booking information and notes accurate and up to date
- Supporting Dispatchers with outstanding jobs, driver information and changing operational priorities
- Working closely with drivers, customers and operational teams to solve issues as they happen
What you’ll bring
You don’t need to know everything on day one. What matters is that you can stay calm, communicate clearly and think practically when things get busy.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Experience in a customer service, contact centre environment
- Experience in dispatch, fleet support, logistics, roadside operations and transport desirable
- A calm, direct and respectful communication style
- Strong multi-tasking ability and prioritisation skills and out of the box thinking
- Confidence navigating multiple screens, and systems while maintaining accuracy
- The ability to build strong working relationships with drivers, customers and operational teams
The roster
Prefer a later start? This could work nicely.
Available shifts are predominantly scheduled across afternoons and evenings, and weekends with our operation running 7 days a week. That means later starts may give you time to sleep in, get things done during the day or make use of our free on-site gym facilities before your shift.
Shift patterns may vary depending on operational demand, so flexibility is important.
